New work.
Just finishing printing up a proof for my job and wanted to let you know how things are going. I’ve enjoyed the 10 or so hours creating graphics for the Division of Criminology and Criminal Justice at PSU. My boss is great to work with, essentially letting me do my thing and giving me space to work. What’s really nice about this job is that I’m taking a course right now in Digital Page Layout, which could very easily be my job title. I’m able to put all the little tips and tricks I’m learning in class to work and I get paid for it.
Today, or yesterday I suppose, I interviewed for a photography position with the PSU Daily Vanguard. This is a student run newspaper. I got to take a look at the cameras I would be using and got pretty excited. There was a gorgeous lens in there that would be so amazing to work with. So send some good vibes and prayers my way.
I’m also working with a clothing company creating t-shirt graphics and am really looking forward to see where that potentially takes me. The company is called PBRack. The owner is a young guy named Tom, super cool guy by the way, who graduated high school when he was 15 and became a pro paintballer. So somehow he developed this idea for a clothing line (the PB stands for Paintball) and now he’s got his stuff in a couple shops in Europe and a handfull here in the states. These are too quick ideas I came up with:

I also finished up with my friend Kyle’s cd cover. Turned out ridiculously awesome, I was super happy with the artwork. And the cd itself, audio-wise, is absolutely incredible. This guy is going places and I made him sign a contract stating that if/when he gets famous he has to pay me 75% of all his proceeds, so I’m set.
Here’s to hoping I do a better job of keeping this guy updated.
