current projects and things on my mind.

I have a couple things on my mind at this moment.

First and foremost is the fact that my wife and I are moving in less than a week. Less than a week, which means on Saturday, which means soon. It’s slightly stressful, very exciting, and a little bit tiring.

I have a fair amount of freelance projects that are starting to pile up. Which is stressful. I love the fact that I have clients, I hate the fact that I don’t have enough time in the day right now to pack, create sketches, finalize projects, make moving arrangements, so on and so forth. I’m very much looking forward to quitting my 8-5 with an hour lunch break and taking up school again, and when I say very much I’m understating it.

It’s ridiculously nice out right now and I want to go on a bike ride.

And a couple recent design projects (descriptions under photos):

This is a bible study cover I just finished up for Salem Alliance. Really happy with how it turned out. My wonderful helper and wife Brittany was more than willing to do a little research for this one and helped me write out all the names on name tag stickers.

This is more than likely going to be the final graphic for the album cover that I’ve been working on. My buddy Kyle informed me that the title of the album is going to be “If you aint got a voice…” We collaborated on what type of imagery would work with that title and thought a piece of duct tape over the mouth would work well. The final final piece will be posted when I get it finished up sometime this week.

And a logo I’ve been working on for a bit now. My new client and friend Melissa from Concordia church in San Diego has been nothing but helpful and kind, definitely an ideal person to work with.
